What do you get if you mix a musician, a Christian Wanderer, and someone who grew up in a Time Machine? Ever since youth, Carter Norman Phillips has been creating fiction. From stop animation films as a kid to writing as an adult, he has grown up a story teller. From the songs he writes to the books he devours, each piece of his life is an adventure that lends enthusiasm to his storytelling. He taught himself to read at an early age with a set of 1973 encyclopedias, and ever since has wandered the pages of many stories. Growing up in the woods of Missouri gave a love of nature and adventure that has turned into the wanderings of a semi-nomad who enjoys hiking, climbing, and anything outdoors.

Carter currently lives in North Carolina with his wife Bethany in his self-built school bus conversion. But at heart, He is a pilgrim. A stranger in the earth looking for a city made without hands, pressing forward in this world to reach the next. His hope is that his stories ring with the truth and grace of Jesus Christ.
